(Diary 532) The Importance of the Image of Divine Mercy The Image of Divine Mercy is key to understanding all forms of devotion to God's Mercy, and at the same time, is their synthesis as well. We must understand the Importance of the Image in our everyday life, as well as its importance in bringing us to Eternal Life. This Image, requested to be painted by Our Lord, is, simply put, the expression of our whole faith in a painting.
