Novena for the Feast of Mercy
Meditation:
Make a novena for the Holy Father’s intention. It should consist of thirty-three acts; that is, repetition that many times of the short prayer — which I have taught you — to The Divine Mercy (Diary, 341).
“O Blood and Water which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a Fount of Mercy for us, I trust in You” (Diary, 309).
[This request of the Lord was in the context of making the Feast of Mercy known (see Diary, 341).]
My Prayer Response:
Lord Jesus, now that the Feast of Mercy has been officially declared as a feast day for the whole Church, may it be understood and celebrated throughout the Church. May the Feast of Mercy be an occasion of a flood of mercy poured out on the whole world so desperately in need of Your Divine Mercy!
